About
Western Washington Female Hockey Association (WWFHA) is Washington State's only all-girl ice hockey association, and it is celebrating its 10th anniversary. WWFHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls through participation in sport – teaching girls to skate and play ice hockey at the competitive and recreational level to help promote productive, healthy and happy lives. WWFHA is growing and currently consists of three teams: Washington Wild 19U Rep, 19U Development and 14U Recreation House. The 19U Rep and 19U Dev teams play in the competitive Canadian PCAHA girls' league with practices in the greater Puget Sound area, home games in Bellingham, WA, and away games in Vancouver, B.C. The 19UAA Rep team just finished in 1st place in the Canadian PCAHA league and won Pacific Districts, earning a spot at the 2013 Tier 2 USA Hockey Nationals. The Washington Wild 14U plays locally in the NPSHL boys' recreational league, with games and practices in the nearby metropolitan area. For more information visit http://www.wwfha.com
