The New England Future Stars, an Elite Spring/Summer Youth Hockey League based in Massachusetts is looking for some experienced coaches to fill out the last few coaching vacancies. The league is made up of 10 organizations playing at 5 different levels, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Varsity(High School) and NEW for this year a Girls U14 level. Entering our 7th year, we plan to have more than 700 kids participate in our 46-team league. All Head Coaches will be paid for the season which begins in early May and ends in early August. Commitment is minimal, one practice during the week and one game on Sunday afternoon. No games or practices during holiday weeks or weekends. YALE YOUTH HOCKEY SEEKING HEAD COACHES FOR 2014-2015 SEASON
Yale Youth Hockey, a Tier II-Tier IV organization based out of New Haven, CT, is seeking qualified Head Coaches for the 2014-2015 season from Squirt through Bantam. Yale Youth Hockey is a non-profit entity that seeks to promote skill-development and teach life skills in a positive, structured environment. The season runs from September-March, with additional responsibility with tryouts and a week-long YYH Summer Hockey Camp.
Requirements:
1. Practice preparation & implementation
2. Ability to manage & involve Assistant Coaches in all practices and on the bench during games
3. Willingness to follow YYH curriculum & USAH ADM requirements
4. Must be a leader with excellent communication with players, administration & parents
5. Passion for the game of ice hockey & coaching
6. Others duties assigned by Hockey Director
7. Flexibility to assist in YYH Skills, Tryout Camp/Evaluations and YYH Summer Hockey Camp
Preferences:

Walpole Express Junior Women's Hockey Team (Head Coach)
The Walpole Express will be accepting applications for the Head Coaching/ GM position for the Women's Junior Express hockey team. This team is set to begin play in 2014 as a proud member of the NEWJHL (www.newjhl.com). This position will be a full-time position that will include but not limited to coaching the team, recruiting and evaluating potential student athletes, placing players into college hockey. WCHA Women's Commissioner Job Posting
The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) announces the search for a commissioner for its women's league for a multi-year term beginning with the 2014-15 academic year. The WCHA seeks a dynamic leader who will provide vision and strategic direction to its membership and advance the sport of women's hockey within our region and nationally. The women's commissioner oversees and manages all facets of the women's conference and ensures the efficient and fiscally sound administration of all activities. The women's commissioner will work in collaboration with the men's commissioner to lead and manage all operations of the conference including the management of support staff.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to collegiate women's hockey and a thorough understanding of NCAA compliance issues. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required and an advanced degree is preferred. Experience in the areas of strategic planning, marketing/sponsor sales, fiscal management, media relations, communication, and office management will be key skills of the successful candidate. POSITION
Pacific4 Sports Management has an opening for a hockey scout in the Michigan and Minnesota regions that can assist the firm with scouting hockey players at all levels. Your job as a scout will be to identify professional hockey talent, assess the play of hockey players, as well as provide detailed scouting information for potential elite clients for the firm. On the recruitment side, you will be required to make the initial contact with the players/families and provide enough information about our services to them to allow our Senior Scouts and Recruiters to contact them for further information about the firm and what we can do for our for hockey players.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Recruiting current and prospective athletes for the firm.
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospective athletes.
- Developing and maintaining contacts and relationships with, coaches, media, league officials and club officials.
- Keep knowledgeable and current on all developments in what is commonly referred to as the sport of professional and amateur hockey.
- Perform, to the best of your ability, any and all other assignments given to you by the company.
- Scouting, recruiting trips as assigned.
- Player Consultant agreement would be for One (1) 12-month period from date of signed contract and renewable on an annual basis.
- Must have strong relationships within each level of local hockey programs and organizations.

CT Oilers Internship Program
Internship Program
As a part of the Connecticut Oilers organization, interns will be exposed to the inner workings of a professionally run hockey team. Specifically, interns will receive the opportunity to become involved with game night operations, marketing research and special projects. All interns will be required to handle computer applications with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.). In addition to working games, the intern will have the opportunity to work in the office environment during the season. The semester will offer a chance to learn the daily regimen of a sports franchise, meet important contacts, and the chance to be involved in many aspects of the operation.

Compensation
The internships offered by the CT Oilers are non-compensated; however, the internship can be used to obtain course credits through your school.

Interns are required to find their own transportation to and from work. The CT Oilers office is at the SoNo Ice House, 300 Wilson Avenue, Norwalk, CT, 06954.
Duties
1. Game Night - the game of hockey is an event and much occurs behind the scenes to insure our guests have an enjoyable evening regardless of the outcome. Intern responsibilities on game night will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Helping with in-arena promotions (i.e.: Lobby activities, promotions, and intermission activities) at all CT Oilers home games
- Performing other duties as assigned by full-time staff
- Score Keeping and In-game statistics which includes computer entry
- Video Coordination – arranging video connection and filming of games for fasthockey.com live feeds
2. Research - you will be asked to assist in the research of general market information, hockey specific information and corporate partnership information as well as tracking of various media announcements.
- Create literature, ticket sales promotions, and other special interest projects as needed
- Collect and organize game notes, game stats, team rosters and media guides to distribute on game nights
- Scan daily newspapers and clip all CT Oilers related articles
- Help in compiling team statistics on team and league attendance figures and player performance
3. Special Projects - depending upon your development and time commitments, you could be asked to create special projects to assist the CT Oilers staff. This could include grassroots marketing programs, advertising community projects, etc.
